On the National Public Radio show 'Insight,' Modesto Anarcho broke the story that today, Neo-Nazi and racist skinhead groups will put on a music festival, 'Golden State Awake.' The event will feature a popular Nazi band, 'Max Resist,' that formerly included Wade Michael Page, the Neo-Nazi serial killer who attacked a Sikh temple in Milwaukee. The group organizing the event is Golden State Solidarity (formerly Golden State Skinheads), the same group that attempted to hold a permitted rally (apparently those that wish to overthrow the government and start their own fascist one still need permission to gather i.e., protection from the police), on the steps of Sacramento in February, only to be attacked by anarchists, occupy protesters, and others. For months the show has been billed as a celebration of the birthday of Ian Stuart, the deceased singer of the racist skinhead band, Skrewdriver (UK), as well as the Neo-Nazi network that he formed, Blood and Honour.
